Annual Ferguson Christmas PJ's

For the last 3 years my mother has bought Christmas Pajamas for all her grandkids. The first year she only had to buy 4 sets, last year it went up to 5, and this year it went up to 7, that is a lot of PJs. It was really crazy to get kids ranging from ages 2 months to 5 years old together and happy. We had to do it on two spearate days, that is why my nephew Matt has a different hairstyle in the two pictures. I don't think I got the best pictures but they were as close as I could get.

Christmas/9 month Pictures

We had Cain's pictures taken again at Miles and Me. www.milesandme.com She was having a Christmas Special, so we had some Christmas ones taken and some regular ones taken. Cain had just woken up from a car nap so he was really somber, so I was kind of disappointed that we did not have more smiling pictures. Something kind of funny is that the first few pictures he has a snow flake ordament behind his head and it looks like he is wearing a tiarra.

My Magic Shoes

One of the gifts we got when Cain was born were a pair of Nike High Top shoes. We finally got to put them on him on Sunday. he was not sure of them at first and I kept thinking he wanted them off but my mom said let him get used to them. So he stayed in them most of the day and I sent him to daycare in them on Monday. When Chris picked him up that night the ladies went on and on about how cute the shoes were and how well he did in them. He pulled himself up to everything and he even stood for 7 seconds without holding on to anything.

He is Everywhere

Cain is still army crawling but he knows how to really get where we wants to go. This picture is of him under a chair in our kitchen, his smiles did not last long because he could not figure out how to get out from under there.

In these pictures he is on the bottem shelf of our sofa table, he climbed up there himself and bulldozed all the pictures off the table. He eventually summersaulted off the end.

This age is so much fun and so exciting, I know I say that with every phase he goes thru but Chris and I find ourselves laughing all the time and we are amazed about the things he knows and the things he can do. Last night I went in to check on him and he was sleeping on his back with his legs propped up on the rails of his crib, I had to call Chris in and we laughed so hard at how cute he looked.

I Want Those Plants

So we have a tone of plants and we had a really hard time deciding where to put them, but finally we were able to put them in a place where they look good and then Cain started crawling. All Cain wants to do is get to the plants.

All the plants are in our guest room now, we now call it the greenhouse. Cain bounced right back from his fall and I am working on trying not to freak out everytime he hurts himself.

Two of a Kind

This is my favorite picture of Chris as a baby. It was taken January 7, 1978. He is wearing a Humpty Dumpty outfit. The best part of the picture are the cheeks, they are so low and so big. In the last ultra sound picture of Cain, the tech got a picture of his face and the only thing you could really make out were his big cheeks. We knew before he was even born that he would look like his daddy. Here is a picture of Cain taken on May 9, 2008.

Grandpa George

On Sunday Cain met Grandpa and Daddy out in the hay field. Cain was still in his church clothes and just woke up, Grandpa was pretty dirty and had been working all day, you put the two together and they still take a great picture.
